PROVE ALL THINGS | Is the United Church of God Preaching Heresy?

We read in Psalm 111:10 that “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments”. The apostle Paul to the evangelist Timothy wrote: “Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.”(2 Tim. 2:7) God gives the understanding through His spirit to those who obey His Commandments. We are told in Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” So our “paradigm”, our “position” must be from God’s point of view not our own. The Church of God is the spiritual body of Christ.(1 Cor.12;Eph.4:11-16) The Holy Spirit in each of the members of Christ’s body, leads us in all things to Christ. Though the apostle be “absent in the flesh” today just as the apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 2, the apostle is with us “in the spirit”. He is a member of the spiritual body of Christ. “And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.”(1 Corinthians 12:26) God commands in His Word that we all “SPEAK THE SAME THING.”(1 Cor. 1:10) That “same thing” He put into His Church through His apostle. Mr. Armstrong wrote several articles on the mind of Christ of HOW doctrine, beliefs and teaching came into the true Church of God. Jesus Christ said “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”(Mark 1:15) What must we repent of? Sin. What is Sin? (1 John 3:4) It is the transgression of the Law of God. What is the gospel? It is the message Jesus Christ preached!(Mark 1:14) The Gospel of the Kingdom of God, or the GOVERNMENT of God. That government is based on THE LAW OF GOD, and the LAW OF GOD is predominant in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. What is LAW? It is the rules of conduct. It is a WAY OF LIFE! So the gospel not only pertains to the proclamation that God will indeed send His son Jesus Christ to this earth to establish His Kingdom on this earth, but also how one must CONDUCT themselves in that Kingdom or even enter into that Kingdom! Now, those being called today, must repent from living and walking contrary to the Law of God, from breaking God’s Law and sinning against God. Then they must BELIEVE the gospel! The words which God gave unto His Son Jesus Christ, was given by Christ to His apostles.(John 17) These words are “spirit and life”(John 6:63) They are “all things pertaining to life and godliness”(2 Peter 1:3)which are ministered unto us by the Holy apostles of God. “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall”(2 Peter 1:10) Therefore we are called to remember what was taught by God through Holy men in many places in the Bible. The gospel preached by Mr. Armstrong was not after men, but came from Christ. Even the apostle Paul had people questioning whether he had Christ speaking in him. He had people accusing him of being a “reprobate”, having Christ not speaking in him. He equates such accusers as people who have “sinned” or having breaking the law of God. “I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare: Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.”(2 Cor. 13:1-10) Compare with what is said in Micah 3:11. So to teach that Mr. Armstrong, the apostle of Christ, did not have Christ speaking in him, on certain subjects or points, is “sin”. It breaks the law of God. “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.” 2 Peter 2 continues to explain how these ministers, due to SIN, speak evil of things they do not understand. They accuse the true ministers of Christ, including God’s apostle, of not having Christ speaking in them. They LACK THE UNDERSTANDING THAT GOD GIVES! Understanding comes from God to those who OBEY HIM. If we aren’t obeying God, we will not have a “good understanding”. Therefore the apostle Paul admonished those who make such accusations to “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.”(2 Cor. 13:5) Some even within God’s true Church have been guilty of doing this sort of thing. It is something that is labeled “SIN”, and must be repented of! John 17 shows us that Christ gave the Father’s Words to the apostles. In Mark 6:11 Christ tells His apostles that if ANYONE doesn’t receive them(the persons of the apostles) nor hear their words(all of what they preach), to leave that house or city shaking the dust of your feet for their judgment is WORST than Sodom and Gomorrah’s. We are told by Jude, the apostle of Christ, in God’s Word concerning the apostles words: ” But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ” [Jude 1:17] Also, the apostle Peter wrote: “This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:” [2 Peter 3:1-2] The apostle Paul wrote: “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” [1 Thes. 2:13] He also wrote: “For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.”(1 Cor.4:15-17) “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (Gal.1:8-12)Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;”…”And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.” (2 Thes. 3:6-7,14-15) How can we have company with those who OBEY NOT the words of the apostle of Christ? We are commanded to NOT have company with them. We have no need to doubt the apostle. He is NOT a reprobate. He is awaiting the First Resurrection. Christ was indeed speaking in him. Why should we “dehinge” ourselves from the apostle of Christ? Why should we “let loose of the coat-tails of Herbert Armstrong and clasp the hand of Christ” as one dissenting ex-minister said a long time ago? The apostle Paul heard that there were divsions among the people of God in Corinth. “For first of all, when ye come together[he is speaking of the passover service] in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.”(1 Cor.18:19) The reason for the division was due to heresies. Mr. Armstrong remarked in several articles, how the DIVISION that occurred during the 1970’s was due to the Church’s lack of obeying Romans 16:17. And this is true, for a corollary scripture 1 Corinthians 1:10 reads “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” Now what “thing” must we all speak? If everyone spoke their own thing, there would be DIVISION. And today there is. We must speak what Christ gave through His apostle! That is what we must speak! There is so many scriptures that tell us this! God equates speaking something contrary to the apostle, which causes DIVISION within the Church, as HERESY. In fact, Paul’s 2nd letter to the Corinthains corrected those in the Church who was CAUSING DIVISION by saying that Christ was not speaking in Paul. It corrects those who say the same thing against Herbert W. Armstrong. Do you remember the STP? Do you remember what the apostle of Christ, Herbert W. Armstrong, said about the “Doctrinal committee”? They actively sought out to DIS-PROVE the teachings, and doctrines that Christ put into the Church through His apostle. They brought damage, harm, and DIVISION to the body of Christ. It was heresy. It was SIN. And God tells us to have NO COMPANY with those who do these things. Christ raised His apostle up after total heart failure, to be the SPEARHEAD to RID THE CHURCH FROM SUCH THINGS. Those led by God’s Holy Spirit joined with him, and God added His blessings. If you read Malachi 2, which is a corrective message to the ministry, God has some very important things to say. “And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you[the ministry- i.e verse 1], that my covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.[Rev. 3:8] The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they[the ministry] should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.[THIS IS SPEAKING OF GOD’S APOSTLE- Herbert W. Armstrong] But ye[THE MINISTRY] are departed out of the way[The way that was PREPARED]; ye[the ministry] have caused many to stumble at the law; ye[again, the ministry] have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts. Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept [they did not Hold Fast, ie Rev. 3:11] my ways, but have been partial in the law.”[End Quote] John the Baptist prepared the way for Christ’s first coming as a lamb. The book of Malachi was both a message to the Levitical priesthood prior to Christ’s first coming, and ALSO a message to the MINISTRY of God’s Church prior to Christ’s SECOND COMING. And the man who came in the power and spirit of Elijah in this end time was Herbert W. Armstrong. He prepared the way for Christ’s second coming AS THE KING OF KINGS. Now when Christ returns, He will PURIFY the sons of Levi(Malachi 3). Levi, is the MESSENGER of God. His sons, or the ministry trained and ordained under him, “departed out of the way”. Which “way” is that? It was prepared brethren! In Malachi 4, they are told to “remember the law of Moses”. The LAW Moses gave was from GOD! Or THE LAW OF GOD! Now, in Malachi 3:1, a messenger of the Lord is sent to PREPARE THE WAY. That is the messenger who would come in the power and spirit of Elijah, who would restore(Matt.17:11)all things, who would prepare the way shortly before Christ’s second coming. This is none other than Herbert W. Armstrong. Now, the sons of this messenger “departed out of the way”, and was “partial in the law”. Now, to say that Christ was NOT speaking in Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, and therefore he taught wrongly, “iniquity” rather than righteousness, is heresy, it is SIN against God and is CONTRARY to the Word of God. It causes DIVISION, and has no part within the Church of God! In fact, if someone comes along preaching contrary to what Mr. Armstrong taught, we are to have no company with them and AVOID THEM.
Many of the “sons” of Mr. Armstrong, the ordained ministry found their way into the “United Church of God” organization. Others found their way into other organizations. Is the UCG teaching faithfully what the Apostle of Christ taught them? Are the other COG groups?
Now through Mr. Armstrong Christ restored “all” of the truths that had been originally taught by Christ and the original apostles(Matt. 17:11). What was taught? “All things that pertain to life and godliness”(2 Peter 1:3). Also: “We [the apostles of Christ] have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” (2 Peter 1:19-21) We do WELL to TAKE HEED to what Christ taught through Mr. Armstrong. In a co-worker letter dated January 8, 1958, Mr. Armstrong wrote about “heresy”. [Begin Quote] “This is a very SPECIAL letter about you, personally. There is one point on which some of our Co-Workers may not be clear.   As you know, this great WORK OF GOD is non-denominational. We are not a sect or denomination in the generally accepted sense. Nor are we backed or sponsored by any, or connected with any.   There were several religious sects in Palestine in Jesus’ day. You read of “the sect of the Sadducees,” in Acts 5:17; “the sect of the Pharisees,” in Acts 15:5. There were also the Essenes, the Samaritans, the Herodians and the Zealots.   But Jesus joined none of them! What is the meaning of the word “sect”? According to the Cruden’s Concordance, “this word is generally used to mean a party in religion, differing in belief from the main body. In our old version it is frequently translated heresy, which the religions change to sect.” Webster defines it: “In religion: a party dissenting from an established or parent church.”   Jesus Christ joined no “sect” — but He did found and build the ONE TRUE CHURCH OF GOD. If you will examine the teachings and practices of the sects and denominations of today, and compare them to the teachings and practices of Jesus as recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John — and those taught by the Apostle Paul in the New Testament — you will see that the popular denominations and sects of today do “differ in belief” and that they are very largely “dissenting from the established parent church” as it was established by JESUS CHRIST! Hard to believe — but IT’S TRUE!   The true CHURCH OF GOD, founded and built by Jesus Christ — the Church of which HE is the active, living, directing HEAD — is not a sect or denomination!   I want to make this absolutely clear–so I hope you will find it very simply explained in my autobiography, now running serially in The PLAIN TRUTH: that while this true work of God is non-denominational and non-sectarian, nevertheless God most decidedly does not carry on His great work thru me as an individual, but thru ALL OF US CO-WORKERS WITH CHRIST who today form the collective BODY led and empowered by the Holy Spirit, as God’s instrument by which and thru which HE carries on HIS WORK!   Jesus Christ came to this earth 1900 years ago to start the true WORK OF GOD — carrying His GOSPEL MESSAGE to all the world as a witness! But God works thru human instruments. Jesus did not preach to all the world. He called, taught, educated and trained His disciples, who became apostles. Thousands of others were converted thru them. These formed the true CHURCH that Jesus built — the COLLECTIVE BODY used in the WORK OF GOD, which is carrying HIS GOSPEL to all the world! The work was started by the Holy Spirit working in the individual personal BODY of Jesus. It continued by the same Spirit of God working in the COLLECTIVE body of the apostles, evangelists, pastors and elders and converted believers who became the true CHURCH OF GOD.   But the Church of the apostles’ day did not get to all nations. Persecution set in. They were scattered. By 70 A.D., after the Roman invasion, their organized effort was largely stopped. Only a few local churches remained faithful, but they were not organized for any world-wide evangelism. The prophesied APOSTASY set in. Pagan doctrines and customs drove in their entering wedge. By 150 or 200 A.D. there were more than 50 different sects calling themselves “Christian” — yet all believing different doctrines and practising different customs. They were not the real CHURCH OF GOD — they “dissented” from the teaching and practices of CHRIST — from “the established or parent Church” which Jesus founded.   In the early 4th century, Constantine, Emperor of the Roman Empire, took command over these differing sects that called themselves, falsely, “Christianity.” He called the Nicene Council. He told the leaders of all sects to settle their differences — to decide on some ONE doctrine they could ALL compromise on. That is what came out of the Nicene Council — a doctrine of human compromise that would please the largest number of people! The military General-Emperor, Constantine, used the power of the state police and the army to force that doctrine and practice on the Roman world! As time went on, more and more pagan doctrines and customs were gradually introduced into this false “Christianity.” Millions were martyred for BELIEVING the BIBLE instead of the man-made pagan doctrines that came out of these successive Councils.   Then came the Protestant “Reformation.” Luther, Calvin, Knox, the Wesleys, and other Protestant leaders made changes. They even restored parts of Bible TRUTH. But they also, in their turn, introduced various new doctrines and customs of their own, which were contrary and totally foreign to the Bible and the teachings and examples of Jesus and of Paul. Today there are hundreds of these Protestant sects and denominations. What do they have? Each has its own different combination of doctrines, part of which is Bible TRUTH; another part of which is error often peculiar to each particular sect; and a large part of which — larger than realized — is the same pagan beliefs and customs which came thru the Catholic Church which Emperor Constantine organized.   BUT THEY DO NOT SPEAK THE SAME THING JESUS DID! They do not believe or practice what PAUL taught. They do not, except in small part, BELIEVE THE BIBLE — incredible as that may sound.”[End Quote]

Mr. Armstrong also wrote about the 1974 rebellion:

[Begin Quote]“Those now advocating this Scriptural HERESY want to abolish all authority which Christ as our Head SET in His Church. Their contentions would lead to VOTING — the “democratic way” — the very OPPOSITE of God’s Way. They want to be “LIBERAL,” and soon this liberality would lead into general and widespread SIN. They would become just a few more churches OF THIS WORLD — Satan’s world.   Yes, SATAN is the real author of this rebellion against God’s WORK.”[End Quote from February 25, 1974 brethren Letter] So what does the UCG teach?

UCG’s teaching on the Government of God.

While not ignoring that the organization of the UCG was founded FIRST. They then requested from Joseph Tkach Jr. to keep their ministers on the WCG’s payroll, until the UCG found financial footing. Then their congregations were drawn away from the Worldwide Church of God, (which is “similar” to how GTA started his churches). The UCG the government structure is very different from what was “restored” to the Church through Christ’s apostle Herbert W. Armstrong. The UCG admits this. In the UCG, if a member of a congregation questions a doctrine, or comes up with a new one, he goes to his local pastor, who goes to the Regional pastor, who goes to the Doctrinal committee(which has sub-committees for certain subjects and topics), then it goes to the “council of elders” led by a rotating president, and after that it goes to the “General council of elders” and would need a ¾ majority VOTE or “ballot” to make this change, or new doctrine official. (from what I can gather from UCG Sermon: “Maintaining Doctrinal Integrity Given on Apr 27, 2013 by Roy Holladay”) The UCG is led by an “balloted” council of elders, with a “balloted” rotating presidency. Changes to doctrine, or new doctrine, are gone through the “process” mentioned above.(from what I can gather) It is DEMOCRATIC in form. Much like how the United States congress works in passing laws. The apostle of Christ, Herbert W. Armstrong, having Christ speaking in him, called it “scriptural heresy”. Now whether or not we believe God and His apostle is totally up to us. Many of our readers, some attending with the UCG, were originally called and baptized into the Worldwide Church of God. The Worldwide Church of God wasn’t an organization, but the spiritual body of Jesus Christ. You weren’t baptized into any “organization”. If you start researching into the writings of Herbert W. Armstrong, refreshing yourself with what you were originally taught, you will find that Mr. Armstrong spent a lot of time, sweat and blood, to give to you the mind of Christ on things that are very important to the true Christian. Was his labor in Christ all in vain?
From the UCG’s August 2003 Doctrinal Study Paper labelled “Balloting in the Church”: ” [Begin Quote] ”…every form of government has strengths and weaknesses, including the “one man” structure that had become our norm over the decades.”…”When the United Church of God began, there was a great desire to include a number of people in the governmental structure of the Church rather than relying on one person. Therefore, one of the first issues that had to be addressed was how the new organization would be organized. The system that emerged spread responsibility among the several instead of the few.Because this was a different approach to Church government for most, sincere questions about its biblical validity arose. Some, while not wishing to return to the old government with one man in charge, still felt uncomfortable with the new approach. Due to long held convictions regarding “voting,” many honestly felt, and still feel, uncomfortable when asked to vote on issues or officers. These concerns led the Council of Elders to conduct a doctrinal study on the subject of Church government. The “bottom line” of that study was the recognition that God has used various governmental models throughout history to work with His people. It was noted that the rebellion of Satan took place under a form of government that had been instituted by God Himself. It was also noted that while God allowed other forms of government, mixed results occurred under each form. The paper concluded that God is able to use our current form of government if our hearts are right with Him, and that no form of government will produce the right results if our hearts are not right with Him” [End Quote] Another sermon from UCG minister Frank Dunkel, called “A Proper Paradigm” given July 08, 2017, goes further to say this. He literally ATTACKS what Christ taught through Mr. Armstrong. He states that a paradigm from what Mr. Armstrong taught(using the examples of the Bible Christ used through Mr. Armstrong )would literally BLIND Christians today, and has. We posted something to say about this sermon here: Another Sermon from UCG minister Donald Ward was evaluated a while back and we posted an article on it. Link: As the UCG doctrinal study paper said, the UCG’s teaching is very different! INDEED IT IS! NOTICE what was actually taught by Christ through His apostle! If we were to accept the UCG’s teaching, we would be REJECTING what Christ gave through His apostle. It is that VASTLY different! We would be breaking the command of Jesus Christ in Rev. 3:11! We would be breaking the law of God, to accept heresy. Did Mr. Armstrong teach heresy? Or is the UCG teaching Heresy? Let’s see what was originally taught. Here is a reading list. Check to see if what the UCG teaches is truly what the restored and taught by Christ’s apostle Herbert W. Armstrong. Are they in “harmony”? Or are they preaching “heresy”? All of them are available on This is very important! This is not just inclusive to what the UCG preaches and teaches, but what about the other groups? If they are differ in teachings, or doctrines in any way, they are teaching “heresy”. Now if you want to support heresy, then go ahead, but those of us in God’s Church are commanded to get rid of these heresies among us in order to “ALL SPEAK THE SAME THING”, to be in harmony with Jesus Christ and God the Father. We call not just only on the people but ALSO THE MINISTERS, to evaluate whether they be “in the faith”, or if they themselves are preaching and supporting “heresies”. Take this to God. Pray about it. Fast about it. Believe what God says in His Bible. Obey God.
First, please read the article from Mr. Armstrong called “Satan Use and Deceive Me?? Never!!!” published in the Worldwide News, 8th Dec 1980 page 1. In this article, Mr. Armstrong explains the gauge to judge what a true Christian must be doing. Have we strayed from one tiniest point of truth? Let us examine ourselves. If we have strayed a “little” then we have strayed into “darkness” and AWAY from Christ. What did Christ’s apostle, Mr. Armstrong, teach concerning the Government of God, the true gospel, and the organization of God’s true Church, about doctrine and how doctrines come into the Church? Below are a list of his articles(to save space). Please read them to compare with the UCG’s teaching. Aaron Dean

There are several things in your ‘history’ that are in error. STP was written to change doctrine. UCG doctrinal committee is to hold doctrine, unless scripture itself changes it. That has to be written up, presented to all elders, and agreed it is biblically sound by 3/4 of all elders. So far no doctrine has been changed though a number of papers have been written and rejected.
UCG does believe God’s government is hierarchical. However God has to place someone in charge for it to be God’s government. Some have tried to be ‘in charge’ by their own doing and had to be removed. Several then divided the church to start their own so they could be in charge. It showed a total lack of humility – and absolute requirement of God. Should we have made them a ‘pastor general’ to have “God’s government”? If so we would be stuck with someone God didn’t appoint. Satan has a hierarchy as well – is that God’s government?
HWA never considered his writings to be scripture. Although I trust his writings more than anyone else’s except scripture, we must be careful in trying to make every single word he wrote as pure doctrine. Yes, the majority of what he wrote and taught you can prove scripturally, but if he were alive, even he would agree some things were inaccurate.
I respect and know Mr. Armstrong better than anyone, but you are breaking down his writings and comparing them in a way that he would not do.
I have a full set of hard copy of everything he wrote, and I appreciate you gathering his info so others can return to his writings in one spot, but until God appoints a Moses, and Elijah or another apostle, we cannot make one ourselves. That would be choosing our own king. Not every word the early apostles wrote was canonized as scripture. God directed the selection we have today in the bible. We must be careful to make sure scripture supports all that we do and say.

You have stated [Quote]”I have a full set of hard copy of everything he wrote, and I appreciate you gathering his info so others can return to his writings in one spot, but until God appoints a Moses, and Elijah or another apostle, we cannot make one ourselves.”[End Quote]
Are you saying that we are trying to appoint another apostle?

So the question is not on whether Mr. Armstrong is an apostle, but rather what part of his preaching and writing is “pure doctrine” for the Church.
Can you compile a list of things Mr. Armstrong taught that the UCG deems is NOT “pure doctrine”?

Thank you Mr. Dean for your comment.
